ABOUT
SCHOOL’S CURRENT SITUATION
A. GEOGRAPHY
Bulacao Community School was established last May 19, 1966 . It is about 7 kilometers away from the city , 150-170 meters from the highway and more or less 500 meters away from the barangay hall. It is has a land area of 7,262 square meters. In Commuting from the Cebu City Division Office you have to ride a jeepney as mode of transportation.
The school is surrounded with community residents, four (4) private schools nearby and some commercial establishments with Citi Hardware as its landmark,. It has active external and internal stakeholders who work hand in hand in achieving DepEd vision, mission and core values.
At present the population of the barangay is still increasing. There are 4,121 children of school age and there were 2,632 total number of enrolment for this school year.
B.LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Learner-classroom ratio is 45:1.
Seventeen (17) classrooms are in good condition and forty six (46) needs repair .
Two (2)classes in Sped were fused in 1 classroom.
One (1) functional library, properly lighted, well-ventilated, wide space and conducive to studying.
One (1) N-computing room with 3 host PC and 28 monitors or computer units.
Has Guidance office also caters the clienteles pertaining to all guidance services and clinic room to serve children regarding health and sanitation.
With Home Economics Building with Comfort Room, Bed Room and kitchen.
Deep well water source.
Learner-toilet ratio is 36:1, with an excess of 21 toilet/s for the whole school.
Three (3) hand washing area found outside the classroom and each classroom has improvised lavatory.
Learner's Material- pupil ratio of 1:1 for Grade One – Grade Five Level. Sad to note that the Grade Five level did not received Science Learners Material and the Grade Six level received only two set of LMs namely ESP and Mathematics . LMs were distributed among each level with the ratio of 1:1

C. TEACHER'S SITUATION
There are seventy-seven (77) nationally funded teachers with four (4) males and sixty three female teachers with learner:teacher ratio of 45:1. Most of the teachers are carrying full teaching loads aside from those subject coordinators and with ancillary.
